The Swiss certification body LinquaCert is your specialized service provider for ISO certifications according to the recognized international standards ISO 17100, ISO 18587, and ISO 9001. LinquaCert is an independent Swiss cooperative based in Zurich (Switzerland) and is therefore your ideal partner.

Our experience is our most valuable asset. We have conducted numerous audits for companies of different sizes and structures. As specialists in ISO 17100, ISO 18587, and ISO 9001, we are very familiar with the workflows in translation agencies. During our audits, we can quickly identify weaknesses and support you in improving your processes.

Our Vision

Our goal is to support translation service providers (LSPs) in the translation industry in identifying their potential, increasing quality and market value, and winning and delighting customers.

We see ourselves as a partner who supports you throughout the certification process and provides suggestions on where you can further improve. In this role, we work with you to examine project management in translation and, where necessary, offer optimization recommendations.

As an internationally active certification body, no distance is too great for us, and we have the necessary resources to support clients overseas. What drives us is the conviction that standards significantly improve the quality of services. It is not only about issuing a certificate—our mission is to establish ISO standards in translation companies worldwide.

Standardization helps us in everyday life as well as at work. It makes services and quality comparable and transparent. With our certifications, we enable even smaller translation service providers to operate on the global market under the same criteria as larger competitors.

These standards also serve an important cultural purpose. The better the translations, the more language is preserved in high quality.
